Holy cow, so gorgeous. :)
This is my husband Steve and I on our wedding day. Though we had our commitment ceremony a few years ago as of August 1, 2013 in Minnesota we were able to get legally married. My husband is a female to male transgendered individual and thus we were not able to get married until after August this year.
We are both fat and happy. We look at the positives in life and hope to spread that. We like to think of ourselves as Trans educators or answer questions about living a queer (and poly) lifestyle.
My name is Amanda and I’m a size 22/24 US. Good energy to all the Chubby Bunnies out there!
My gf and her hubby. <3
Hey!!! That IS me and my hubby!!!
We made it through the whole ceremony! Now we’re partying and it’s almost time for cake!
Three weeks and every day is amazing and full of love. We’re moving into the first place that is completely ours (as in we’re starting out both in it) tomorrow, and I couldn’t be happier. <3 <3 <3
Our wedding officiant sent some photos she’d taken, and these were a few of my favourites. I can’t believe it’s been two months already … but they’ve been very happy months. <3
Hello folks, I told you I had some nice surprises coming for you at the end of the months!
Yes, I got married yesterday! it was an incredible day, everything I had ever dreamed of. if you’re interested you can see our wedding website here with more pictures and info about our wedding and how we met and got engaged and so on.
Now, this is actually the second dress I bought. The first while lovely was a little boring and it was an awful fit and every time I put it on I felt awful, I figured it would be better once I had it altered and when the seamstress quoted me £200 to fix it I decided to go to a proper shop and see if I could find anything for that price. You see I had bought the first one on ebay being terrified of the idea of shopping for a wedding dress, hearing all sorts of horror stories from other plus size brides about their experiences had put me right off. However I discovered a plus size bridal shop in milton keynes called about a bride AND they had a sale on! I tried on a few dresses that were all sort of meh.. I had dismissed this one straight away since it was strapless but my mum begged me to try it and I finally got my “wow, this is the one!” moment. I got a shrug to go with it since I wanted my arms covered, it was plain lace so I bought some beads and pearls on ebay to match the ones on the dress and stitched them on myself.
The lady in the shop was extremely helpful and friendly and I HIGHLY recommend them for any plus size uk brides.
- Dress: Hillary Morgan via About a bride.

- Shoes: Light in the box
- Faux fur shrug: eBay
- Veil: eBay

I got married. It was pretty cool. Here’s the proof.
Okay, I promise these are the last ones! But one of my friends took some black-and-white shots, and I’ve scanned them in and they’re really lovely. <3
